FAQs

Why trust One Day Paint?

At One Day Paint, we don’t take chances and we never cut corners. We want our customers to be completely satisfied with their home’s fresh coat of paint.

We’ll keep you up-to-date across all stages of the project and upon completion we always follow up to ensure the job meets or exceeds expectations.

If anything is wrong, we’ll fix it, straight away. One Day Paint is also covered by full Public Liability Insurance and every project is backed by a 7 year warranty.

How does your pricing compare?

One Day Paint is no more expensive than traditional painters in Melbourne. In fact, in some cases, we are actually more affordable than others.

Our pricing is open and transparent. We propose a standard flat fee eliminating the potential for overcharging clients.

And, unlike some other Melbourne painters, we stick to our quoted price. We put all costs upfront, so there are never any hidden fees or unexpected extras

What is your experience?

The founders of One Day Paint, Oscar and Dominik both have over 10 years’ experience in the building industry, most recently in commercial painting.

Collectively, the pair has worked with six different builders, including big names such as Probuild and Lendlease, where they were employed as Project Managers.

Through K2 Painting and Rendering, they have completed projects across Melbourne. A recent job included the painting of 81 residential apartments in St Kilda.

Do I need a Colour Consultant?

We’ve teamed up with Open Design Studio to take the hassle and stress out of choosing the right colour. Rather than agonising over which colours work with which walls and trying to stay on trend, the Interior Designers at Open Design Studio come to your house and provide a 1 hour consultation to help you choose the colour that’s right for both the house and you.

If your total cost is over $7,000, we’ll even throw the Colour Consultation in for free!

Of course, if you have a colour in mind, or just want to match an existing wall, that’s fine with us too. Either way, we’ll make sure you’re happy with your choice before we start painting your house.

What’s Eco Paint?

Most paints are made using varying amounts of petroleum based solvents. These chemicals, more often referred to as Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) can be avoided by choosing an Eco Paint.

eColour offers zero VOC paint in over 35,000 colours to suit any application. You get the same coverage, durability and finish as other paints just without the fumes.

eColour paints are Australian Made and Owned.
